Common Inflectional Endings
Long Vowel Sounds
Reads level-appropriate, irregularly spelled words and patterns
Decode and encode one and 2-syllable words
Recognizing the features of a sentence (for example: first words, capitalization, and ending punctuation).
Begins to understand simple punctuation marks (period, question mark, etc.)
